Dear Jesus, The World Needs You- A letter

Dear Jesus,

Happy resurrection!
Today is a significant day that qualified us for victory.
Oh, happy day! When Jesus washed my sins away. That on his day, death could not hold you, the veil tore before you.

What a day when the boast of death was silenced.
Yes, the tomb is empty, He that was asleep is now in glory!
Oh, what Victory!
Victory over everything that could stand against us, hold us back or sabotage us from your great plans.

Lord Jesus, this world needs you.
We need your touch
The pain is such an ouch
But in your name, we vouch

We are desperate that you silence the pandemic
The way you overcome the devil and dropped the mic

We need to see miracle and wonders
Like when you calm the roaring thunders
And put the enemy in his place till he shudders

Dear Jesus, Little children need to play
Even the women look forward to slay
But the real question is how do we pray ?

 Teach us what to say
Mould us to your ultimate clay
A vessel worth your display
That we may know the way

The world needs your touch
This pandemic has been such a punch
Yet we know in victory we shall match

It is not even about the virus
It is the fear that has us
And our weakness that betrays us
As your resurrection is a beacon of hope
In your love, faithfulness and joy we cope
Truly, all we can say is that: You are dope

Lord Jesus, you saw this a mile away
Even when we were going astray
But hear and now, you hear us pray

In your blood we plead
And confess it like a creed
So that we are freed

In Jesus name we trust and believe
And we know we shall receive

Love,the world.

Why the Devil wants You for Dessert ! - On the Menu

Let’s agree to disagree, this year has a point to prove, it’s in a rush. It’s on the run to somewhere; it has to be there by December.     I am not sure whether I am the one experiencing this, but Sunday is such a throw stone away from Monday nowadays. It feels like yesterday I was huffing and puffing trying to get my resolutions together, it’s now July . Anyway I am buckling up and keeping up with the speed levels of 2018.   2018, if you can hear me, I am breaking sweat as well, we shall revisit and settle in December. .................... I love Nigerians, it’s not their Jollof rice or their incredible sense of art, and it’s their oomph! ,   I have a thing for their vigour. I find them so boisterous in their confession especially. You can tell when Jesus said, the kingdom suffers violence and the violent shall take it by force, that was for them.   I have limited knowledge about them but I have managed to gather a few traits here and...

THE OTHER WOMAN - The Leveled-Up Woman.

Ever heard of this saying? “Women are their own worst enemies?   The tales about how women do not support each other and other lies?  Here to demystify.   Well, lately I have been thinking about women and the power we have to influence each other. I am sure you are thinking ‘here she goes again with the feminism talk ’, 😂be kind, I promise to take you on a different tangent.   The thing I have learnt about life is that if you do not like what you see ,then be the change.  I do not want to be benighted to the fact that there are times when we might have witnessed women being used in    impious   rivalry, malice and guile.   There is that but , there is also another narrative of women who built each other, championed each other for God’s glory. Let’s get straight up into the word. Hannah and Peninnah .   These were Co-wives to one man. Hannah was on the other side of have not.   She was childless; she...

Listen , JUST DO IT ✔

Guys, in a few days I will a year older! September is that month for me. Yaaay ! Deep down I want to celebrate and pop some bottles (in this case water or a juice of choice) but something in me wants to care for more. In my walk as a Christian, there are times when I feel overwhelmed, not good enough, inadequate. If I can be candid, it is a very desperate place yet it is indispensable for growth.  Have you ever been tired? Tired of mediocrity, unfruitfulness, lack of progress, retrogression, tired of the norm , just tired ! There is nothing wrong with feeling tired, in fact I have learnt that when you feel tired it’s because you have been laboring for something. There is no problem in wanting IN, wanting more, it’s not greed; it’s a level of pursuit. Don’t get me wrong, I am very grateful for what God pours into my life, He is so kind and loving, I can attest. I however feel like I am in a place where I know there is more in God and I cannot afford to shrink back and be compl...
