The year of Thus says the Lord

Happy New Year ...!

Every new year, there is always a fresh canvas of good energy and expectations and it's no lie its going to be a good year .

2•0•1•6 Add up all the numbers and it totals up to 9•

What really stands out about this year is that: it's the year of the Lord. This is the year where we lay out all that we have and all that we are in surrender to His Plans and pursuits .
It's either the Lord directs the script or you're  out .

Personally ,its a bit strange how this year I hardly had resolutions of to chase after or  or indulge in as was my norm in previous years. This year I felt "Let the Lord be the shepherd & you shall not want." psalms 23

The expectations of the just shall not be cut off ... There are words that I am running with and taking to the bank . God is on my side , Yes he Loves me ! .

Looking forward to divine relationships that will be glued by the fellowship of the holy spirit. I have learnt that God will separate ,not because there is something wrong but because there is a destination that separates us . The fact that Apple and Samsung are phone dealers doesn't mean they will manufacture in the same space "in the name of We are phone dealers ". They have a different call and participation.

God by his divine nature separated Oprah and Ruth...both were in the same predicament ..Widows and helpless but One had a destiny and she was with the right person and by faith she followed.

There will be more ----------> over there relationships for the season.

Another thing is ;Words will matter . Words that create..words that will change the world . Words that will act as a currency to the spirit . speaking the right things at the right time . Isaac blessed Esau and Jacob while he was aging at his bed . Blessings and not curses . In church , our pastor challenged us to Speak life. To speak positivity and uplift others .

Let our talk be seasoned with salt and grace.  Isaiah 14 ( Isaiah paints a picture that he felt impure because of his tongue . The book of James warns us about the tongue . Let's Speak life ..." Things don't change because you curse them , they change coz you bless "PST George Mathu .

Lastly ...You cannot sell your birth rite for a bowl of ''Soup" . We have to be discerning , people will come with great ideas or money simply because you sound the part but you cannot give out your God given responsibility or position for a desperate call . Its more like :we cannot compromise , or conform to the standards of the world simply because there is an urgency to settle a need .

Again , Let the Lord lead . Lay out yourself as he has good plans to prosper you and not to harm you .

Shalom.

Why the Devil wants You for Dessert ! - On the Menu

Let’s agree to disagree, this year has a point to prove, it’s in a rush. It’s on the run to somewhere; it has to be there by December.     I am not sure whether I am the one experiencing this, but Sunday is such a throw stone away from Monday nowadays. It feels like yesterday I was huffing and puffing trying to get my resolutions together, it’s now July . Anyway I am buckling up and keeping up with the speed levels of 2018.   2018, if you can hear me, I am breaking sweat as well, we shall revisit and settle in December. .................... I love Nigerians, it’s not their Jollof rice or their incredible sense of art, and it’s their oomph! ,   I have a thing for their vigour. I find them so boisterous in their confession especially. You can tell when Jesus said, the kingdom suffers violence and the violent shall take it by force, that was for them.   I have limited knowledge about them but I have managed to gather a few traits here and...

How I Knew The One !

I giggle whilst my face takes the form of   this constant blush every time I hear someone describe how they knew THE ONE. I am in the hospitality department in my church and I am privileged to work around amazing women. We have random conversations from fashion to food, to what stood out for us in church and basically any feel good vibe.   In our endeavor to create conversations that continually edify us, there was this recent query! How did you know he was the one?   This is a question that is relentlessly asked to those who have gone ahead into the Canaan of relationships .   Whether married, engaged, single &satisfied, single and on your knees, we can all agree that there is something astounding about knowing that God has set apart someone that you will do life with.   Anyways, I want this to be a dialogue, how did you know he /she was the one?   (Feel free to leave a comment below) .  Was it a busy day in traffic?...

Why Christians Ought to Use Fragrance more Often

Happy April …. Hope you had a wonderful Easter.   April is here, the year is unfolding super fast and my prayer has been Psalm 90:12“ Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. ” I really want this year to count. I am in a season where I feel like God is building my muscle and capacity .You know that place where you feel God nudging you to tone up? Lift the weights , take the mile and drink lots of water ? It can be hard but once you see the results , it motivates you to do more and learn more . Paul writes " Work out your Faith with fear and trembling ,    Let’s just say spiritual work-outs are a thing . As it was the Easter season, the Lord laid something in my heart .We had a powerful moment in Church this Easter, the sermons rotated around the message of the Cross, pardon me , The Powerful message of the CROSS 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 King James Version (KJV) 14  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to tri...
