Moving Mountains With your Faith

But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.
 

Lately, I have been asking myself a myriad of questions about where I am at with God. We all get to that place of have a Self evaluation; allow me to share my story.   In the quest to learn and seek after God, I found that it’s better to be absent in the world but present in the heavenlies. Is that too spiritual? Maybe it is, but there is nothing too spiritual because we are all spiritual beings. We are created in the image and LIKENESS of God (Gen 1:26) , so that is where we get our blueprint from.

Over the last couple months, I have learnt and accepted that God will set you in situations where you have to deal with the soars and the battles of life before you soar high. Where am I really getting at? FAITH.
The Moving Mountains Faith, walking on water Faith  … the kind of faith that speaks to a fig tree until it withers! The very same one throws chills of cold waves in your spine to even think about it… Yes, THAT FAITH.


Faith that is foolishness to the world, the kind that stuns you wants to yell out because it defies all logic. That is where we are headed, lets journey together.
 Hebrews 11 . NOW Faith, stop! right there, I re-read this all the time, because Faith is NOW.  It’s such an urgent action that you cannot miss out on God. You cannot refrigerate the faith from yesterday cos it was too much and carry forward tomorrow or later. Faith is NOW!! It is defined as the Assurance, Title deed, confidence and much more depending on the revelation.

Sometimes I get to that point where God has to define Faith for me, for NOW. Because Faith is so reassuring it breaks all the feelings, emotions and insecurities one could ever have. In the myriad of situations, storms and raging sea, Faith will be anchored by peace. 

Faith will take you to personal journey of discovering the reality of God. It will whet your desire for God in a way that only God will unveil himself to you. Hebrews 11:6 … Without Faith it is impossible to please God. 
This will get you to a place of fellowship, where you will disclose the language of your heart to the creator of your Soul, body and Spirit. A place where David could not withhold a dance ( 1st Samuel 6: 14 ) .  In that place where your walk with God is so personal and glorious that you simply want more. It’s no longer a call of duty to pray or a mundane routine of fellowship but it’s an intimacy of awareness of His Presence.

That is where Paul was at when he says He No longer lives but Christ lives in him “ Gal 2:20. So, before you conform to any pattern or agenda that the enemy has Remember it is the Faith in God that will Anchor You.  Faith will please God, Not just Faith But with Actions. (James 1:14).

How I Knew The One !

I giggle whilst my face takes the form of   this constant blush every time I hear someone describe how they knew THE ONE. I am in the hospitality department in my church and I am privileged to work around amazing women. We have random conversations from fashion to food, to what stood out for us in church and basically any feel good vibe.   In our endeavor to create conversations that continually edify us, there was this recent query!
