It’s been 5 years. How have you been?

Imagine making a debut 5 years later. Imagine what 5 years later look like.  That is how long I have been inactive for. Life happens, and it has happened very rapidly for me and you I assume. Covid was like a catalyst for many, I included.  (I am simply highlighting what the last post was here, FYI)

Let’s just say, like what Nigerian movies promise ….5 years has brought transformation. Wifehood motherhood, life-hood and all the hood that is in adulthood.  Let me just pause for a moment and say that God has been faithful. One of my all time verses is

Psalm 37: 3
Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the Lord;
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:

So, I am just making a tiny comeback, with lots of changes but greatly understanding that God is, has and will BE, Constant.  Many things that passed, things good, others bad, some tolerable… But God is truly a constant and consistent in Himself. Nothing highlights that more than TIME.

So, What are we doing here, you may ask ? We are just going with the flow. Just as we left off, Just being fluid and patient with it.

I have a question for you, what can you say about your last five years ? What has God been to you ? ( whatever it is, I pray we feed on his faithfulness)

XO, Bellz.

Why the Devil wants You for Dessert ! - On the Menu

Let’s agree to disagree, this year has a point to prove, it’s in a rush. It’s on the run to somewhere; it has to be there by December.     I am not sure whether I am the one experiencing this, but Sunday is such a throw stone away from Monday nowadays. It feels like yesterday I was huffing and puffing trying to get my resolutions together, it’s now July . Anyway I am buckling up and keeping up with the speed levels of 2018.   2018, if you can hear me, I am breaking sweat as well, we shall revisit and settle in December. .................... I love Nigerians, it’s not their Jollof rice or their incredible sense of art, and it’s their oomph! ,   I have a thing for their vigour. I find them so boisterous in their confession especially. You can tell when Jesus said, the kingdom suffers violence and the violent shall take it by force, that was for them.   I have limited knowledge about them but I have managed to gather a few traits here and...

THE OTHER WOMAN - The Leveled-Up Woman.

  Ever heard of this saying? “Women are their own worst enemies?   The tales about how women do not support each other and other lies?  Here to demystify.   Well, lately I have been thinking about women and the power we have to influence each other. I am sure you are thinking ‘here she goes again with the feminism talk ’, 😂be kind, I promise to take you on a different tangent.   The thing I have learnt about life is that if you do not like what you see ,then be the change.  I do not want to be benighted to the fact that there are times when we might have witnessed women being used in    impious   rivalry, malice and guile.   There is that but , there is also another narrative of women who built each other, championed each other for God’s glory. Let’s get straight up into the word. Hannah and Peninnah .   These were Co-wives to one man. Hannah was on the other side of have not.   She was childless; she...

Hallo 26- What I Know for Sure

Gather near my little children,  because I have the wisdom of the sages to pass over to you...haha .  First of all, where did the time go?  I want to share the 26 lessons I have garnered over the years that I have been honored to be alive.  I am grateful to God for everything!  Let's Dive in, shall we ?.... as I adjust my stool and cup of green tea🍵  ☝ Be comfortable in your skin. I do not know why these lessons were never passed on to me early. Growing up, be like Nani was the phrase of the community. When you grow up, you realize that Nani was flawed and they too have their struggles. Be comfortable in the height and depth of your personality. Cheza kama wewe! ✌ Don't be afraid to make mistakes.  This one took a while. I don't like making mistakes but sometimes I have come to realize that Failure is information. Make mistakes and awaken from that mud fast before you wallow. 🍲 If you can not eat it, do not serve it. I  live b...
