Dear Jesus, The World Needs You- A letter

Dear Jesus,

Happy resurrection!
Today is a significant day that qualified us for victory.
Oh, happy day! When Jesus washed my sins away. That on his day, death could not hold you, the veil tore before you.

What a day when the boast of death was silenced.
Yes, the tomb is empty, He that was asleep is now in glory!
Oh, what Victory!
Victory over everything that could stand against us, hold us back or sabotage us from your great plans.

Lord Jesus, this world needs you.
We need your touch
The pain is such an ouch
But in your name, we vouch

We are desperate that you silence the pandemic
The way you overcome the devil and dropped the mic

We need to see miracle and wonders
Like when you calm the roaring thunders
And put the enemy in his place till he shudders

Dear Jesus, Little children need to play
Even the women look forward to slay
But the real question is how do we pray ?

 Teach us what to say
Mould us to your ultimate clay
A vessel worth your display
That we may know the way

The world needs your touch
This pandemic has been such a punch
Yet we know in victory we shall match

It is not even about the virus
It is the fear that has us
And our weakness that betrays us
As your resurrection is a beacon of hope
In your love, faithfulness and joy we cope
Truly, all we can say is that: You are dope

Lord Jesus, you saw this a mile away
Even when we were going astray
But hear and now, you hear us pray

In your blood we plead
And confess it like a creed
So that we are freed

In Jesus name we trust and believe
And we know we shall receive

Love,the world.

Why the Devil wants You for Dessert ! - On the Menu

Let’s agree to disagree, this year has a point to prove, it’s in a rush. It’s on the run to somewhere; it has to be there by December.     I am not sure whether I am the one experiencing this, but Sunday is such a throw stone away from Monday nowadays. It feels like yesterday I was huffing and puffing trying to get my resolutions together, it’s now July . Anyway I am buckling up and keeping up with the speed levels of 2018.   2018, if you can hear me, I am breaking sweat as well, we shall revisit and settle in December. .................... I love Nigerians, it’s not their Jollof rice or their incredible sense of art, and it’s their oomph! ,   I have a thing for their vigour. I find them so boisterous in their confession especially. You can tell when Jesus said, the kingdom suffers violence and the violent shall take it by force, that was for them.   I have limited knowledge about them but I have managed to gather a few traits here and...

This Year is different , Make it Count

Happy 2017 !!! Aren't we all excited that it's a new year?   There is always a fresh aroma in the air every new year and I know that's God's way of saying " Here is a fresh Start!". This year must be different!  So I told myself but let's get into that dialogue of why  I think so.  Only a fool does the same thing over and over and expects the same results...  a wise man's quote.  I agree,  I am victim of expecting the same results while I have been doing nothing different.   4 things I have been learning that I want to share with you.   1.Everything is a heart Issue  Proverbs 4:23 " Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of Life "  that word keep is also Guard on some translations .  Your heart is not a joke.... Show me your heart and I will show you your issues.  I bumped on some Instagram quote that read " Discern your Judas from your Peter... Judas had a bad heart....

How I Knew The One !

I giggle whilst my face takes the form of   this constant blush every time I hear someone describe how they knew THE ONE. I am in the hospitality department in my church and I am privileged to work around amazing women. We have random conversations from fashion to food, to what stood out for us in church and basically any feel good vibe.   In our endeavor to create conversations that continually edify us, there was this recent query! How did you know he was the one?   This is a question that is relentlessly asked to those who have gone ahead into the Canaan of relationships .   Whether married, engaged, single &satisfied, single and on your knees, we can all agree that there is something astounding about knowing that God has set apart someone that you will do life with.   Anyways, I want this to be a dialogue, how did you know he /she was the one?   (Feel free to leave a comment below) .  Was it a busy day in traffic?...
