Corona Virus - Is it Really a Heaven Emergency ?

Before you come out with your machete and arrows, you might want to read all the way through. If you understand how much God loves and cares for you, you’ll know that this is not an emergency in heaven and it’s taken care of.

The thing about humans is that we effortlessly forget. Even after God has constantly made efforts that His word becomes easily accessible for us to visualize the victories set for us. We are beings who repetitively need a jab once in a while to the reality that: God is King. I dare say, the reason this virus has not affected animals is because it is not them that need a reminder of the sovereignty of God.

 Before you stock your cabinets with rolls of tissues and jars of sanitizer ask yourself, who is really in charge? Because, if it is God, then chill because He really does sustain us.

 First of all, God is not behind corona virus. I need to just say this louder for the people at the back. It crushes God’s heart with the same intensity it crushes ours, much more, I challenge.

In addition, God is the maker of the universe, He has no business spraying the world with some virus for a theatrical effect. We are to blame, because we are in control in matters concerning the earth.

 If you read the bible from a relational perspective and not to critique, you will realize that God loves us so much. He loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us, to redeem us from the curse that we may have an abundant life. God actually wants us alive and whole so that we can be an expression of his goodness and love. 

Corona and all these havocs you see is from the enemy and his cohorts. How we partner with the devil is when we allow fear to reign over the peace of God.  When we allow the statistics to determine the yardstick of God’s mercy and goodness. When we amplify the voice hoarding, saving, overstocking and avoiding as opposed to living a day according to God’s word. His word commands righteousness peace, and joy in the Holy ghost.

 What I know for sure is that Romans 8:28 ; All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to God’s plan. We are the pasture of His flock and He loves us deeply to hurt us.

Well, you may be asking why can’t God deal with this once and for all? He actually can, but He wants us engaged in the change process. He wants us to align according to His perfect will and not blinded by ignorance.  To know His ways that we may rely on His faithfulness. He is more interested in the process because we get  a front row seat to His victories and we can pass them on the next generation.

Y’all remember when there was a flood and Noah build an ark?  Them that were in obedience survived the flood, it never took them down.

Y’all remember when there was a great famine in Egypt and people came from far and wide just for a meal? It was just a season and Joseph was equipped with the knowledge of God on what to do.

Okay, can y’all remember the 10 plagues, the children of Israel were not affected in the middle of a menace. Get this, they were not even affected economically. They had a divine instruction of what to do and they obeyed in that season and they prospered.

I’m sure you are wondering where is this whole memory lane tale is landing to, I got you. Listen, if God is in control, no weapon forged against you can prosper. It will be fashioned to bring you down but it won’t prosper! 

Once you have that understanding, you will see God’s mercy and intercede that the world embraces Jesus as much as they embrace closures and sanitizers. I am not watering down the safety measures, I am just here to acknowledge that there is a higher power that is at work and is the safest option.

Let me retaliate: God is the maker of the universe, He has no business spraying the world with some virus for theatrical effect. We are to blame, because we are in control in matters concerning the earth.

The devil brews in ignorance and a hint of sarcasm, that is why the virus would spread when people are in mockery of the fact that Jesus is a solution to this thing. With the same intensity the virus is spreading, that is how the gospel will spread because truly, the cure is Christ for the nations.

Its funny how we are kinder and considerate when we are pressed against the wall. Suddenly, there are waivers, there are donations and nations coming together. The level of greed and malice cannot be detected because humans have a new found ground to be kinder. 

Please note, we ought to live like this, in love. The problem comes in when our love is driven by fear of loss and disaster.

Do not allow yourself to be in fear, be in faith. He overcome death, how much more a virus?  In case you are affected, guess what, He is the great physician. I do not want to be insensitive to the deaths and losses of people due to the virus, I just want to pass on a polite reminder: God is good and He is in control.
