Faith is the Currency of Heaven

" God will not ask you to do the impossible , He will only ask you to do the ridiculous ."  That was the conclusion of the Sunday Sermon.  It got me stirred up about faith and the importance of Faith .Clearly, faith is about taking that step to do the ridiculous .

Faith is that gut that is inspired by the Holy Spirit . That is how you know the difference between Faith and mere instincts , or foolishness if I may add . I bet you have heard tales of people who started with the mustard faith and are now reaping the reward in a bounty harvest . It did not make sense then , if you have a close up ...You will even find that they were mocked and jeered .

 If you read Hebrews 11, Its a narration of the patriarchs and how faith brought them to the hall of fame . Faith will take you where even the Creme de la Creme of the world haven't been to. The world is always at a standstill until someone takes a leap of Faith and ventures into the unknown .

 Abraham was a man of crazy FAITH , Who takes his Only son to offer as sacrifice to the Lord ?The world would probably have booked Abraham into those psychiatric rooms and examine his mental state . But guess what, he was FINE . 

You see , Faith is not logical , You cannot subject Faith to any form of theory or explanation , its not practical . It looks , sounds and even perceived as a crazy thing at the time. No wonder Jesus said that if we could have the faith of a mustard see, we could Move Mountains.

 Faith is an expression of LOVE . How so ? You cannot step out into the known without knowing the love of God . Trust me , it is the fuel of your faith  the assurance that you are safe and have God by your side . Galatians 5:6.   How about the water walking faith ? Read Matt 14 :29
Have faith and venture into the unknown , Faith is the currency of Heaven , Fear is the currency that operates in hell. Choose wisely what currency pays for your stay on earth . XOXO

Listen , JUST DO IT ✔

Guys, in a few days I will a year older! September is that month for me. Yaaay ! Deep down I want to celebrate and pop some bottles (in this case water or a juice of choice) but something in me wants to care for more. In my walk as a Christian, there are times when I feel overwhelmed, not good enough, inadequate. If I can be candid, it is a very desperate place yet it is indispensable for growth.  Have you ever been tired? Tired of mediocrity, unfruitfulness, lack of progress, retrogression, tired of the norm , just tired !
