Hallo 26- What I Know for Sure

Gather near my little children,  because I have the wisdom of the sages to pass over to you...haha .  First of all, where did the time go?

 I want to share the 26 lessons I have garnered over the years that I have been honored to be alive.

 I am grateful to God for everything!

 Let's Dive in, shall we ?.... as I adjust my stool and cup of green tea🍵

 ☝ Be comfortable in your skin. I do not know why these lessons were never passed on to me early. Growing up, be like Nani was the phrase of the community. When you grow up, you realize that Nani was flawed and they too have their struggles. Be comfortable in the height and depth of your personality. Cheza kama wewe!

✌ Don't be afraid to make mistakes.  This one took a while. I don't like making mistakes but sometimes I have come to realize that Failure is information. Make mistakes and awaken from that mud fast before you wallow.

🍲 If you can not eat it, do not serve it. I  live by this principle, I avoid doing things to people that I would not want to be done to me. I avoid anything that is malicious or toxic. The world has a way of revolving, serve what you would want to be attached to.

 🍮 We do not have to have coffee. My goodness, I could scream this out. Sometimes it is so draining to accept some invitations for "Coffee" that end up to be spaces of gossip, bad vibes, and other energy-draining stuff. I read somewhere, you do not need to leave your house for concentrated sugar and caffeine, some agendas can be ironed out via text or call.

 💭 Know when to speak and when to stay silent.  There are times, your silence will speak volumes than words will ever do. They are moments where you need to stand up and taking a seat will be helpful. Knowing when to do the needful is real wisdom.

 💞Learn detachment. No one is warranted to stay, enjoy people now because tomorrow is not a guarantee. Be the person that sets others free. Your love is not a cage to hold people hostage, it should be home, where they can come and leave and find a safe space whenever they can.  ( I'm sorry I sounded like Oprah, but it comes with age!)

 🙋 Say what you do/ who you are  loud and clear, never feel less or too much. Life is progressive, once you wore diapers now you can change em'. Do not be embarrassed about growth.

💪 You are not the only one going through it, do not beat yourself up. Go through it and come out of it.

💄Ladies, a good red lipstick is necessary, a darker one is for the bold type. Just know when to go bad and bougie when to serve" I was raised right".

 🙏When you are at a crossroad, be still. You will see and decern more clearly the direction that you ought to walk in.

✔ A church is a place for people to get healing, just get your healing, take your mat and walk. Do not make it a marketplace, that's how you will get whooped and your tables turned!

👇 Start Now! ( I know, they all say this ) But start when you are in doubts, starts when it is not clear, along the way it will make sense. Just do it now.

🙌 Give, share, be generous. I've learned that there are prayers that work in your favor because they are people who always remind God to bless you because through you they got their miracle and answered prayer. If you do not anything in this life, make sure there are people who speak well of you in God's presence without your knowledge.

🙅 Never stop learning, google, Youtube, ask questions. Never stop.

😊 It is the little things that matter, the magic is not in the thunder, it is in the aroma of the rain and the crisp chills that come with the wind. That said, it is not what he promises, it is what he does. Do not let a man that has no Visa tell you you are his world! 😛

 😎It's never that serious, Imagine its never that serious, that loss, that rejection, that failure. If you see it as information, you will get over it and laugh when it is all through. can you imagine in class 3 the most serious thing was knowing parts of a flower,  ha ha ! it's never that serious.

😂 Laugh often,  smile often, be your own source of happiness. The world is a happy space if you create an atmosphere of joy.

🎧 Talk to yourself, take walks alone,  have coffee alone,  Fall in love with who you are and you will never feel lonely. While you are at it, find a nice restaurant that you can always run to for such times. Mine is Crave Kitchen. *Not Sponsored*

💸 Money comes and goes, be sure to a conduit of good. Do not hoard, be the vessel that it chooses to flow from.

👌Find a church that you love, that you can grow into and serve in. You will be nourished and uplifted. There is something about being glad about going to God's house.

✋ You are where you are because of your choices, you are only as good as what you consume. Your weight is a result of what you have allowed. It is not anyone's fault, YOU are the only one who can change and challenge your path!

 💚Fall in love with nature, it will help you see God more often in your low moments. Birds chirping, trees swaying, the clouds moving, flowers blooming.

💜God will never let what you lost to be the best you ever had. Do not hold on to shoes when your feet have outgrown them, make room for new.

💝 Your salvation should not be a secret, it is meant to be lived out loud- Do not be ashamed of your place in God. If you love Jesus say it Loud enough for the world to hear.

👯 Be the friend you want to attract! Friends will mean a lot eventually, but it is not in their quantity, it will be in their quality.

🕛 Trust God's timing,  There is a time for everything! God is never in a hurry, If it's dying, God will resurrect it! - It is never too late.
